SVF is a one man operation. Sam is the founder of SVF and he believes in a shared approach to your health and fitness: an approach founded on empathy and knowledge.

My mission is to build a working relationship with all of my personal training clients that is unique within the industry. I am a trainer that is interested in my clients fitness, both in and outside of sessions. Home studio personal training with Shared Vision Fitness is ideal for those people who may feel nervous in a more traditional gym environment.

What we stand for!

There are many reasons why people give up exercise and its many benefits, as seen above. One of the main aims at SVF (and the reason behind the name) is to increase your chances of staying active long enough for it to become a healthy habit which reaps its own benefits.

One of the ways I do this is through an educational approach to personal training. I believe my clients are more likely to make and keep exercise as a priority if they know what they are doing and why they are doing it. I will enlighten you as we go, starting with the FITT analysis, which tells you things like how often and at what intensity I advise that you exercise at.

Furthermore, all Shared Vision Fitness clients are entitled to chose from factsheets that I have compiled on a wide array of topics such as ‘The Glycaemic index’, ‘the skeletal muscles’, and ‘weight loss principles’ to name just a few.

FIIT Analysis

Every client is entitled to a FITT analysis. This will outline how and how often and at what intensity you need to exercise to achieve your fitness goal(s).

Movement Screening

Many clients will benefit from a movement screening which will highlight possible tight and/or weak areas of the body.

‘Homework’ Exercises

Any issues highlighted in the movement screen may require more regular attention, so I will teach you any supplementary exercises I feel you need to be doing at home.
